Dr. Greg Wacasey earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Hawaii Hilo and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He is board-certified by the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Greg Wacasey, a therapeutic optometrist, has been practicing in Longview, Texas, since 2007. He has 3 teenage children and a wife of 16 years. They have lived in Longview since he began his private practice in 2007.

Dr. Susan Donald, Optometrist

Dr. Susan Donald has been in optometric practice in the East Texas area since 1992, working in privately owned optometry and ophthalmology practices. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science from Ferris State University and Doctorate of Optometry from Michigan College of Optometry in Big Rapids, MI. This was followed by a residency with teaching certification from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois where she was an assistant professor before moving to East Texas to be closer to her husband’s hometown of Carthage, Texas.

She especially enjoys helping her patients see their best to perform well at school and work, and meet vision needs for sports, hobbies and leisure activities. Outside of seeing patients, she and her husband enjoy gardening, flying and visiting family in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.

Dr. Donald’s Specialty
Dr. Donald’s special areas of interest include helping patients with custom corrective eyeglass and contact lens prescription needs. Many patients can benefit from custom designed contact lenses, such as scleral and hybrid lenses, to function optimally. She is also experienced at diagnosing and treating eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eyes.
